It comes with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Every Getaway comes with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, which sends power to all four wheels at all times and adjusts traction in real time based on road conditions. You also get 8.3 inches of ground clearance and standard dual-function X-MODE with Grip Control, giving you traction settings tuned for snow, dirt, deep snow, and mud. That is a meaningful amount of off-road capability for an electric SUV. The Getaway can tow up to 3,500 pounds, so hauling a small boat, a utility trailer, or a couple of bikes on a hitch rack is well within reach. The range tops out at more than 300 miles on a full charge, and fast-charge capability takes the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Compatibility with the Tesla Supercharger network gives you access to over 25,000 fast chargers across the country.
The Getaway is the most spacious Subaru EV ever made. Three rows of seating accommodate up to seven passengers, with a six-passenger captain's chair layout also available on the Premium and Limited trims. The Touring is offered in a six-passenger configuration only. Up to 80.6 cubic feet of cargo volume gives you room for luggage, strollers, sports gear, and everything else your family hauls around. Power-folding third-row seatbacks and a foot-activated hands-free power rear gate make loading and unloading simple. The Limited trim adds a panoramic glass roof with a retractable sunshade, raised roof rails, and ventilated front and second-row seats. Move up to the Touring and you get leather-trimmed upholstery and a Harman Kardon premium audio system. Color options range from Cosmic White Pearl to Night Dive Blue Silica, and the Touring trim introduces unique two-tone exterior finishes.
Every Getaway comes standard with EyeSight Driver Assist Technologies, including a Pre-Collision System and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. A driver monitor distraction mitigation system, Blind-Spot Monitor, and Parking Support Brake are all standard across the lineup. Subaru is rated number one in safety according to the ACSI. A 14.0-inch Subaru Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, along with a Digital Key and front-row dual wireless device chargers. USB-C charging ports in all three rows keep tablets and devices powered up on long drives. The Limited trim adds Traffic Jam Assist for low-speed hands-free highway driving, Advanced Park, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross-Traffic Alert. A standard 120V AC power outlet on the Limited produces 1,500 watts, enough to run small appliances or charge power tools at a campsite. Vehicle-to-Home bi-directional charging is also standard on every trim, letting the Getaway send stored energy back to your home.
