New in 2024

The 2024 model of the Impreza is the first of the vehicle's sixth generation. Notable changes have come to the powertrain and tech offerings. The fuel tank is larger than before, now sitting at 16.6 gallons. Subaru has also removed the sedan option for the Impreza, opting to only offer a hatchback. Drivers who still want the sedan styling should look at the Subaru WRX, a direct descendant of the Impreza.

Exterior

The Impreza features sharp styling that has lots in common with the hatchback's close cousin, the Subaru WRX. The wing-style headlamps are at an angry angle, and the front end features the deep fog lamp coves of a sports car. The profile of the Impreza is aerodynamic, with a taper toward the rear gate. Like most Subaru vehicles, the Impreza prefers black exterior trim over chrome. Seven exterior colors are available, and you can choose from several geometric wheel designs.

Interior

With a modern aesthetic that emphasizes clean lines, curved corners, and soft surfaces, the Impreza is a comfortable ride. It has room to seat up to five people, and the bucket-style design from the front seats is one of the sportier options in the compact class. You will instantly notice the enormous infotainment screen that sits vertically in the middle of the dashboard.
