With a full docket and limited time the club got straight to work as soon as their feet hit the ground. First, the group carried out various service projects at the West Haven Children's home in Upper Saint James. They visited the Garland Hall Home for Kids. They gave books to the Kiwanis Club of Montego Freeport for one of their reading projects. They then painted the Saint James Infirmary and distributed food and clothing for those in need. Later, they also visited other places in the city of Montego Bay, including a church service at Fresh Bread Ministries and a District 60B zone meeting. Finally, as their trip drew to a close they were deservedly able to take some time to relax and enjoy the warm beaches of Montego Bay on lovely beach towels generously donated by Koeppel Subaru and reflect on a job well done.

The group was led by Lion M. Emerson Campbell, president of the Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club and Lion Annette Cooke, President Hollis Lions Club of Queens New York. Also on the trip was the immediate past district Governor Lion Barbara L. Moody. The group returned to New York on July 21.
